What is Special 26?
Special 26 is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language period heist thriller film written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. Based on the 1987 Opera House heist, the plot follows a team of criminals (Akshay Kumar with Anupam Kher), who pose as CBI officers and conduct raids, robbing politicians and businessmen of their black money. The plot of the movie
The movie begins with a fake CBI interview conducted by Ajay Singh (Akshay Kumar) and P.K. Sharma (Anupam Kher), who recruit a team of impostors to carry out their raids. They target a minister's house in Delhi and loot his illegal wealth. They then disperse to different parts of the country, living their normal lives. Ajay falls in love with Priya (Kajal Aggarwal), a school teacher who is about to get married. P.K. invites his crew to his daughter's wedding in Chandigarh, where they plan their next raid.
